Position Summary

As the Housekeeping Manager, you play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the housekeeping team, setting clear expectations and providing ongoing training and support.

  • Ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are impeccably clean and well-maintained.

  • Collaborate with the front office and maintenance teams to ensure efficient turnover of guest rooms.

  • Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and standards to meet company's quality and cleanliness requirements.

  • Oversee the ordering and inventory management of housekeeping supplies and equipment.

  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain high cleanliness and maintenance standards.

  • Address guest concerns and requests promptly and effectively to ensure a positive guest experience.

  • Foster a culture of teamwork and excellence among housekeeping staff, encouraging motivation and morale.

  • Create and manage housekeeping budgets, optimizing resource allocation.

  • Collaborate with the hotel's sustainability initiatives, promoting eco-friendly practices in housekeeping operations.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as Hilton's policies.

  • Generate reports on housekeeping performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualification Summary

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.

  • Proven experience in housekeeping management in a luxury hotel or resort setting.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Familiarity with housekeeping software and systems.

  • Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities.

  • Knowledge of cleaning and maintenance techniques and products.

  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Certification in housekeeping or facility management is a plus.
