Housekeeping Manager
About the role
Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a 2nd Shift Housekeeping Manager to join their team at Holland Hospital in Holland, MI. This position includes a relocation assistance package and offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities
Leadership
- Directly supervise and support a team of 25 Environmental Services (EVS) staff
- Conduct interviews and make hiring suggestions
- Conduct annual evaluations of staff performance
- Supervise and conduct initial and annual staff training
- Create day-off roster
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Address attendance and productivity issues with guidance from hospital human resources
Operations
- Oversee daily cleaning operations for patient rooms, surgical areas, exam rooms, and common areas
- Ensure consistent execution of cleaning and infection control protocols through Quality Audits (inspections)
- Monitor workload distribution and adjust based on staffing levels and census
- Respond promptly to customer service issues and implement corrective actions

Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in environmental services or another service-related field
- Up to 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role preferred
- Model key leadership behaviors and ensure the highest levels of safety, quality, and service excellence for employees, clients, and consumers
