Housekeeping Manager (Apgar Village)

About the role

Manage all aspects of housekeeping operations: scheduling, ordering, inventory, discipline, etc.
Communicates with front desk and Lodge general management to ensure arriving guest rooms are clean and prepared
Ensures staff spaces are clean and sanitized
Ensures team appearance and presentation standards are upheld
Invests in housekeeping team through training and teaching
Maintains quality control through room inspection
Assists team with cleaning and preparing rooms when necessary
Keeps record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details to supervisor
Assists as needed with set up of rooms for special events, meetings, conferences and banquets
Offers assistance to guests and teammates where needed
Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties

Requirements

  • 1-2 years housekeeping management experience required
  • Prior high-volume hotel/season housekeeping experience preferred
  • You’ll need a valid US driver’s license
  • Work-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key
  • Willing and able to work solo or as part of a team
  • Committed to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standards
  • Organized with a great eye for detail
  • Kind to others and always bring your best
  • A good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions

Qualifications

  • Valid US driver’s license
