Housekeeping Assistant Manager (Apgar Village)

About the role

This is a full-time, seasonal position as part of our Spring/Summer 2026 hiring. The role runs from April 27, 2026, through October 17, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with front desk and Lodge general management to ensure arriving guest rooms are clean and prepared
• Maintain quality control through room inspection
• Affixes staff spaces are clean and sanitized
• Affixes assist team with cleaning and preparing rooms when necessary
• Keeps record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details to supervisor
• Affixes assists as needed with set up of rooms for special events, meetings, conferences and banquets
• Affixes Offers assistance to guests and teammates where needed
• Affixes Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties

Requirements

• 1-2 years housekeeping management experience required
• Prior high-volume hotel/season housekeeping experience preferred
• You’ll need a valid US driver’s license
• Work-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key
• Be willing and able to work solo or as part of a team
• Be committed to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standards
• Be organized with a great eye for detail
• Be kind to others and always bring your best
• Be a good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions

Qualifications

• The starting wage for this role is $20.00/hour

Skills

• Housekeeping management experience
• High-volume hotel/season housekeeping experience
• Valid US driver’s license
• Strong work ethic and commitment to the team and guest
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
