Housekeeping – Local Family-Owned Nursing Home – Consistent Scheduling

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping / Laundry Aide to join our team in a locally owned and operated nursing home group serving Western Kentucky. Our focus is on providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that supports the comfort, dignity, and well-being of each resident. This role plays a key part in maintaining high cleanliness standards within a skilled nursing and long-term care facility.

Essential Duties

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas in a nursing home setting
• Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and clothing
• Follow proper infection control and sanitation procedures
• Maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with healthcare regulations
• Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Respond to housekeeping and laundry needs throughout the facility
• Work collaboratively with nursing and facility staff
• Contribute to a respectful, resident-centered environment

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or laundry experience preferred (not required)
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
• Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and lifting
• Commitment to providing a clean, safe environment for residents
