Housekeeping Lead - Hampton Inn Dupont

About the role

Blue Flame Management is seeking the Best Housekeeping person in the city for their Hampton Inn Dupont hotel. They manage three hotels on the Northeast side of Fort Wayne: the Hampton Inn Dupont, Hilton Garden Inn, and Home2 Suites North (a dual property location).

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned rooms
• Assign rooms to be cleaned to room attendants by shift
• Finalize daily paperwork by shift end
• Inspect all rooms and common areas each day to ensure quality standards are met
• Supervise the day-to-day operation of the department and work activities of assigned personnel
• Aid with inventory management
• Maintain compliance with company policies, practices, procedures, and safety standards

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Some knowledge of housekeeping and cleaning techniques
• The ability to deal with various types of personalities and situations
• The ability to make fast and sound decisions
• The desire to reach perfection
• The ability to read and understand instructions, correspondence, and memos
• Availability to work weekends
