Responsibilities
- Serves as team leader for housekeeping employees, offering guidance and support.
- Completes a monthly work schedule and adjusts as necessary for absences during the month, filling in as needed.
- Maintain inventory and order housekeeping supplies.
- Maintain apartment cleaning schedules, train and support the work of housekeeping staff.
- Cleans resident apartments, common areas, and offices as needed or assigned.
- Promptly reports any concerns regarding the safe and proper functioning of equipment to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional housekeeping experience, or equivalent skills and background.
- Ability to effectively respond to questions from managers, residents, employees, and the guests.
- Ability to communicate effectively and keep accurate records for the department.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, electronic, or schedule form.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
