About the role

Blue Flame Management operates three hotels on the Northeast side of Fort Wayne – Hampton Inn Dupont, Hilton Garden Inn, and Home2 Suites North (dual property). As a Housekeeping Lead you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensure quality standards, and support a team of room attendants.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned rooms
• Assign rooms to be cleaned to room attendants by shift
• Finalize daily paperwork by shift end
• Inspect all rooms and common areas each day to ensure quality standards are met
• Supervise day-to-day operation of the department and work activities of assigned personnel
• Assist with inventory
• Maintain compliance with company policies, practices, procedures, and safety standards

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Some knowledge of housekeeping and cleaning techniques

Skills

• Ability to deal with various types of personalities and situations
• Ability to make fast and sound decisions
• Desire to reach perfection
• Ability to read and understand instructions, correspondence and memos
• Availability to work weekends
