Housekeeping Lead

Summary/Objective

Serve as the working Lead Housekeeper. Although this role involves supervisory aspects, this person will still be required to clean and work in the designated area(s) of facility. Specific tasks may not be consistent from day-to-day; therefore, candidate must be flexible and willing to perform some or all of the assigned duties as outlined below:

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for residents, cleaning team and employer.
• Assist Maintenance Director with schedules and staffing needs.
• Maintain janitorial closets/rooms in a clean, neat, and orderly condition, while ensuring accurate inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Aid in the training of the cleaning staff.
• Oversee custodial work, maintaining a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
• Must get along well with others, and deal effectively with residents and staff.
