HOUSEKEEPING & LAUNDRY TEAM LEAD (FULL TIME)

About the role

Location: Texas Masonic Retirement Community - 1501 West Division Street, Arlington, TX 76012. Assist shift supervisors and department directors in the day‑to‑day function of the housekeeping and laundry department. Maintain a high level of quality in all aspects of the department’s duties by training, supporting, supervising and interacting with team members. Ensure schedules are assigned and completed daily, set a positive example through professional interactions, and actively participate in outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality customer service by providing one‑on‑one attention to detail.
• Provides assignments and assistance to team members.
• Demonstrates proper use of personal protective equipment in all aspects of job performance.
• Relieves the shift supervisor in times of absence.
• Adjusts or covers schedules as needed during short‑staffing periods.
• Ensures team members maintain set standards by conducting quality assurance surveys.
• Monitors and reports any equipment issues or shortages.
• Conducts customer and patient surveys.
• Interacts with patients/customers in an appropriate manner according to age‑based competencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or director.

Requirements

Previous housekeeping and laundry supervisory experience is required.
