About the role
We're looking for a Housekeeping Inspector to help maintain high standards at our Surfsider Resort and Silver Seas Resort. This is a leadership position that involves supporting room attendants and housemen, inspecting guest rooms and public areas, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Travel to inspect both properties
- Ensure exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout the property
- Inspect guest rooms, public spaces, hallways, pool restrooms, and lobby areas
- Verify room status accuracy and communicate updates to the Front Desk
- Document inspection results and submit daily reports
- Respond quickly to guest needs, room moves, and cleanliness concerns
- Identify room assignments and determine required cleaning levels
- Report maintenance issues and follow up to ensure completion
- Maintain cleanliness of elevators, hallways, vending areas, and guest laundry rooms
- Maintain linen closets and organize them securely
- Support special projects, inventories, lost & found, and general housekeeping operations
- Train and mentor room attendants, offering coaching and performance guidance
- Maintain key control and follow all safety and security procedures
- Communicate professionally via phone, radio, and in person
- Perform additional housekeeping and operational tasks as needed
Requirements
- At least 1 year of hospitality-related supervisory experience
- Strong communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Confident using TimeshareWare, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong leadership, coaching, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized, reliable, and committed to guest satisfaction
- Able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

Schedule
