Housekeeping/Floor Tech
About the role
Our Housekeeping Technician/Floor Technician is accountable for the cleanliness and tidiness of the facility. This individual should be friendly and helpful, comfortable working in a variety of environments including office space, restroom facilities, and warehouse areas. The role involves working around individuals with disabilities and cleaning restrooms used by individuals with limited control over physical functions.
Responsibilities
- Dusting office space
- Sweeping and vacuuming
- Mopping bathrooms
- Maintaining the professional appearance of the facility
- Performing daily, weekly, and monthly assigned area cleaning duties outside the facility (e.g., trash pick-up, sweeping)
- Utilizing industrial floor cleaning equipment
- Setting up conference rooms according to layout plan
Requirements
- At least one year of housekeeping experience in an industrial or office environment, preferably in a nursing home, hospital, or assisted living facility
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Pay
$15 per hour
