Housekeeping/Environmental Services PT Events

About the Role

Housekeeping Associates ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of all general areas, restrooms, dressing rooms, entrance ways, stairwells, elevators, escalators, and exteriors before, during, and after events. This position requires an eye for detail, the ability to perform under pressure, and the capacity to follow verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment. Housekeeping staff work cohesively with all T-Mobile Center employees to maintain a superior level of service.

Responsibilities

• Perform detail cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, emptying trash cans, replacing trash liners, wiping down areas, sweeping, cleaning up spills and fluids, and floor maintenance throughout the venue while following assigned procedures and cleaning routines.
• Respond professionally, effectively, and efficiently to housekeeping calls during and after events, including reporting any facility damages encountered in a timely manner.
• Control and maintain housekeeping equipment such as vacuums, brooms, mops, buckets, wringers, toilet brushes, garbage liners, push brooms, cleaning cloths, gloves, masks, and cleaning solutions.
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance and wear the proper uniform as directed by management.
• Clean, restock, and maintain restrooms and supply rooms.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures and attend required company-provided trainings.
• Contribute to team dynamics by assisting coworkers, maintaining facility cleanliness, and helping to develop and sustain a positive work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• 0–1 year of custodial experience in a large multi-use facility.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Able to meet deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Dependable with the ability to work flexible shifts, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to maintain good business relations with all employees and managers in other departments.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding essential functions (e.g., kneeling, bending, stooping, sweeping, mopping, walking up/down stairs, pushing, pulling, reaching, carrying trash, garbage, and buckets).
• Duties are continuous and repetitive, involving lifting (up to 30 lbs. unassisted) for 6+ hours.
• Must wear proper PPE in accordance with OSHA requirements.
• Able to be exposed to adverse conditions such as fumes, wet floors, dust, and noise.
• Ability to conduct oneself professionally when dealing with building staff, clients, guests, and supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a cleaning environment, including familiarity with methods, supplies, and equipment.
