Wage: $16 per hour at Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center.
About the role
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms. You must be organized and able to work independently to complete your assigned tasks. It is your job to prepare hotel rooms that are ready for paying guests. This position is not for MSU students.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitizing hotel room bathrooms
- Vacuuming carpets and cleaning hard floors
- Making beds to hotel standard including hospital corners
- Properly sorting recycling and disposing of trash
Requirements
- Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
- Must be able to move up to 25 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
- Must be positive and respectful, especially when working with a diverse population
- Must be able to work weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Minor computer knowledge for online safety training
Physical Demands
- Able to lift 25 pounds
- Standing for 4 hours at a time
Schedule
15-24 hours per week, including weekends.
