About the role

This is a full-time housekeeping opportunity at Mercy Hospital Southeast for motivated individuals able to work both day and evening shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays on a varied schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the healthcare facility
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements
• Maintain a healthy and hygienic environment conducive to patient healing and well-being

Requirements

• Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Prolonged standing and walking each shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• No education or experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Prior hospital environmental service experience
• Experience following written and verbal instructions
• Previous experience performing manual tasks
• Prior experience working with the public; customer service

Pay

Starting rates begin at $15/hr. with additional shift differentials. Rates are based on a thorough review of your relevant work experience.

Schedule
