About the role
Rancho Manor Rehab & Healthcare is hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Housekeeping Team Members to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks according to assignments and procedures
- Clean, wash, sanitize, and polish furnishings
- Clean floors and bathrooms as directed
- Complete terminal cleaning after resident discharge or transfer
- Spot-check and clean vacant rooms
- Follow safety and infection control practices
- Clean carts, supplies, and equipment
- Respect resident rights and handle personal belongings appropriately
- Inventory resident belongings when assigned
- Attend departmental meetings and training sessions
Requirements
- Minimum 10th-grade education
- Ability to speak and write English
- Housekeeping experience preferred
- Knowledge of general cleaning and sanitation techniques
- Courteous and professional communication with residents and staff
- Ability to pass a background screening
- Must meet physical demands of the position
