About the role

Pratt Health and Rehab in Pratt, KS is looking to hire a Full Time Housekeeping Staff Member to join our team. This role involves cleaning resident rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring quality and deep cleaning for residents' rooms after discharge and preparing rooms for new admissions. You will enhance safety and sanitary conditions while providing excellent customer service and building relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Perform quality and deep cleaning for residents' rooms after discharge
• Prepare rooms for new admissions
• Enhance safety and sanitary conditions
• Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations
• Maintain knowledge of and follow all company policies and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service with a warm and friendly demeanor
• Build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Housekeeping experience is preferred, but not required
• Willingness to learn as needed
• Solid communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Multi-tasking skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors, and team members

Pay

$14.50 per hour

Schedule

Full-time position working 4-5 days per week, 7.5 hour shifts, including weekend days and rotating holidays. Flexible scheduling available.
