Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing floors and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, and other facility spaces.
- Dispose of trash and waste materials in a timely and sanitary manner.
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in designated areas.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages observed during cleaning duties.
- Follow all safety and infection control procedures to maintain a healthy environment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
- Effective communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if needed.
Work Environment
- This position involves working indoors in a healthcare facility environment.
- The role requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be used as required.
