Housekeeping Associate | Residence Inn, Bloomington

Responsibilities

• Cleans guestrooms according to company standards
• Assists guests with friendly, courteous, and professional service
• Ensures necessary amenities and supplies are in guest rooms
• Ensures cart, linen, rooms, and equipment are clean and in working order
• Accounts for guest satisfaction related to housekeeping service
• Responds to requests in a positive and timely manner
• Provides high-quality service to guests
• Works as a team player and contributes to other departments’ efforts
• Follows the company’s guest service recovery program
• Understands and follows company lost and found procedures
• Ensures a clean and safe work area
• Inspects rooms for maintenance needs and reports issues
• Uses chemicals safely and follows department procedures
• Reports maintenance service issues
• Keeps up-to-date on hotel emergency procedures
• Produces required volume of work
• Plans, organizes, and prioritizes work duties
• Adheres to company attendance policy, grooming standards, and general work rules
• Attends required department and hotel meetings
• Uses equipment and supplies properly

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Housekeeping/laundry experience preferred
• Attention to detail and customer focus
• Fast-paced environment experience
• Predictable and reliable attendance
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds consistently
• Ability to move throughout the hotel for extended periods
