Housekeeping Aide - Environmental Service- Evenings

About the role

At NewYork-Presbyterian, our housekeeping staff is essential to ensuring a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for our patients and their families. From friendly smiles and conversations to the continuous focus on infection control, our housekeeping professionals help provide a positive experience for everyone within our hospital.

This is a full-time, evenings position (3pm-11pm shift) at NYP Westchester in Bronxville, located across the Metro North Train Station. Weekend and holiday coverage is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and a culture of compassion, caring, warmth and support within our hospital.
• Interact with patients and their families.
• Go above and beyond for patients to deliver superior customer service and ensure their comfort and safety at all times.

Requirements

• Capable of handling automatic floor scrubbing machines, floor buffers and wet and dry vacuums.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Extensive customer service experience and a desire to put patients first (preferred).

Pay

Salary Range: $24.95/hourly.
