Job Summary

We Put the World on Vacation Travel + Leisure Co. is hiring a Housekeeper to support general resort operations by cleaning resort units and maintaining resort quality standards.

About the Role

This role involves cleaning resort units, maintaining standards, responding to guest inquiries, and handling guest issues to ensure total guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms
• Maintaining and adhering to housekeeping detail standards
• Cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and lobbies
• Making beds
• Replenishing supplies, sorting, counting, folding, marking, or carrying linens
• Responding appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction
• Handling guest issues to resolution in an effort to improve the guest experience

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills with employees, guests, and owners
• Possess ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude with a team focus
• Able to lift 50 pounds

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a similar role preferred

Pay

Generally starting at $20.00 - $20.00 per hour, with the actual hourly rate determined by a variety of factors including experience, education, skills, training, and work location.

Schedule

Temporary and/or seasonal associates are ineligible for Paid Time Off.
