Housekeeper - WorldMark Kingstown Reef Resort

About the role

The successful candidate will support general resort operations by cleaning resort units and maintaining resort quality standards. This role will also clean, vacuum, dust, and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and lobbies and make beds. The Housekeeper will replenish supplies, sort, count, fold, mark, or carry linens and maintain positive customer and associate relationships. This role will respond appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction and handle guest issues to resolution in an effort to improve the guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms in resort units
• Maintain and adhere to housekeeping detail standards
• Clean, vacuum, dust, and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and lobbies
• Make beds
• Replenish supplies such as kitchenware and toiletries
• Sort, count, fold, mark, or carry linens
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction
• Handle guest issues to resolution in an effort to improve the guest experience

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Possess ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude with a team focus
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and standards
