About the role

The Housekeeper at Montage International is responsible for performing all daily tasks associated with housekeeping duties, including cleaning and resetting guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas; changing linens; making beds; conducting turndown service in the evenings; organizing collateral on tables; straightening furniture; cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming of rooms and public areas; emptying trash; stocking satellite closets; providing and retrieving linen supplies; being courteous and helpful to Hotel guests, including reporting any guest requests or preferences; and completing assigned tasks in a timely manner as outlined by supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Performing all daily tasks associated with housekeeping duties
• Cleaning and resetting guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas
• Changing linens
• Making beds
• Conducting turndown service in the evenings
• Organizing collateral on tables
• Straightening furniture
• Cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming of rooms and public areas
• Emptying trash
• Stocking satellite closets
• Providing and retrieving linen supplies
• Being courteous and helpful to Hotel guests, including reporting any guest requests or preferences
• Completing assigned tasks in a timely manner as outlined by supervisors
• Performing additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties based on business needs

Qualifications

• Promoting a positive image of the property by displaying a pleasant and upbeat personality during each guest interaction
• Comfortable responding to and carrying out specific guest needs and requests
• Ensuring the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms is of utmost importance
• A high school graduate or equivalent vocational training preferred
