Housekeeper (2026-0548)

Job Overview

The position involves a variety of housekeeping duties in and around the hospital to maintain a clean and sanitary environment. Additional duties may include assisting with patient room cleaning and collecting waste and linens.

Responsibilities

• Assists with maintaining a clean and sanitary hospital environment.
• Performs assigned tasks and projects in the assigned area according to department procedures.
• Fills out assignment completion report daily and communicates cleaning needs and concerns to the shift supervisor.
• Completes special cleaning assignments as assigned.
• Ensures adequate staffing levels and assists staff as needed.
• Collects and handles waste and soiled linen according to department procedures.
• Moves and projects work in assigned areas.

Qualifications

• Communicates effectively in English.
• Demonstrates good interpersonal skills in a diverse population.
• Able to work on assigned shifts, including weekends.
• Works independently.

Pay and Schedule

Hourly pay range: Min $23.93 - Max $38.03/hrly. DOE (Salary determined by experience and performance).

Shift: Evenings (5pm to 1:30 am)
