Essential Functions
- Cleans and restocks resident rooms
- Cleans and disinfects all public areas, including carpets, handrails, doors, windows, trash cans, and light fixtures
- Cleans bathrooms
- Gathers trash
- Determines appropriate chemical solutions for cleaning and disinfection
- Assists with laundry services, including sorting, drying, and distributing.
- Assures cottages have a supply of clean linens, cleaning supplies, and trash bags
- Schedules, comprehensive cleaning of dining room area
Qualifications
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and practices
- Knowledge of cleansers, supplies, and equipment
- Knowledge of basic math
- Knowledge of state and facility policies and procedures
- Knowledge of universal precautions
- Knowledge of emergency procedures, cleaning methods, materials and equipment
- Knowledge of infection control standards
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Housekeeping)
Special Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
