Housekeeper (Saturday, Sunday and Monday)

About the Role

The Bristal Assisted Living is a luxury assisted living community that operates like a high-end hotel, delivering exceptional guest services and hospitality. As a Housekeeper, you will create and maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for our residents by cleaning resident apartments, restrooms, common areas, offices, and surrounding areas according to housekeeping standards and procedures. Your role is fundamental to the quality of life and general wellbeing of our residents, requiring a friendly, courteous, and positive attitude in all interactions with residents, their families, guests, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident apartments, restrooms, common areas, offices, and surrounding areas to housekeeping standards and procedures.
• Interact professionally and pleasantly with residents, resident families, guests, and team members.
• Clean assigned areas of the community in accordance with guidelines established by the Director of Housekeeping.
• Provide loving care, attention to detail, and excellent customer service to support residents' quality of life.

Requirements

• A pleasant and courteous demeanor when dealing with peers, supervisors, guests, residents, and management.
• Swift yet thorough cleaning practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling demanding customers.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to adjust to different personality types and situations positively.
• Reliability, a caring attitude, and a consistently positive demeanor.
• Abiding respect for the elderly and the ability to remain calm at all times.
• Must be able to work at least one weekend day per week (Tues–Sat or Sun–Thurs).

Qualifications

• Experience providing cleaning services in the restaurant, healthcare, hospital, hotel, hospitality, or similar industry is a plus.
• Experience working with a senior population is preferred.
