About the role
The Housekeeper will perform daily, weekly, and monthly laundering and cleaning responsibilities as determined by the Supervisor.
Schedule
40 hours, Monday–Friday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
Pay
$20.00 – $21.20 per hour, based on relevant experience and skill set
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and understand printed labels, signage, and instructions
- Ability to understand and speak English
- Minimum of six (6) months of institutional or commercial industry cleaning experience
- Preferred: knowledge of industry standards as applied to sanitation and general procedures
Physical abilities
- Ability to perform frequent bending, standing, stooping, stretching, and walking
- Ability to turn over a twenty-five (25) pound mattress for cleaning
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
- Ability to perform frequent and repetitive motions to carry out all types of cleaning functions
