Housekeeper | Long Term Care

About the role

The position is located at Eureka Health Care Center and is a regular, full-time role with a primarily day shift that rotates weekends and holidays. The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $21.50 per hour, with actual pay dependent on experience. The position offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean/neat environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas.
• Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned, including dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash.
• Keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
• Maintains stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies.
• Maintains good customer relations at all times.
• May sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens.

Qualifications

• The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
• Must have visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.
