Housekeeper I-Livingston Orthopedic Surgery Center (2nd Shift Monday-Friday 6p-2:30a, Some Saturdays as needed)

About the role

This position is for the 2nd Shift, with a required schedule of Monday-Friday 6:00 PM–2:30 AM, including some Saturdays. Employees may be assigned to work at any of the following locations:

• Livingston Orthopedic And Surgery Center – 405 Butterfly Gardens Drive, Columbus, OH 43215
• Livingston Ambulatory Center – 380 Butterfly Gardens Drive, Columbus, OH 43215
• Big Lots Behavioral Health Pavilion – 444 Butterfly Gardens Drive, Columbus, OH 43215
• Conference Center – 520 Butterfly Gardens Drive, Columbus, OH 43215
• Main Campus – 700 Children's Drive, Columbus, OH 43205

Provides high levels of cleanliness, quality, and service to patients, families, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services patient care areas, offices, lobbies, bathrooms, or other assigned areas.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the 10 Step Cleaning Process and appropriate chemical use to meet department standards.
• Performs routine cleaning and coordinates with management to address and resolve facility maintenance, service issues, and other concerns.
• Practices proper methods of Infection Control in conjunction with cleaning procedures. Maintains proper use and knowledge of PPE and door precautions.
• Maintains closet, housekeeping cart, and cleaning equipment in clean, orderly, and good working condition.
• Maintains department’s standards of practice as evidenced by quality control inspections and customer feedback.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent, required.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in the 10 Step Cleaning Process.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Displays positive customer service skills and promotes a team atmosphere.
• Previous housekeeping experience, preferred.
