Housekeeper - Full-Time Day shift

About the Role

Golden Years Homestead, part of Greencroft Communities, is seeking Full-Time Housekeepers to join the Environmental Services team. This role involves creating a clean, comfortable, and safe home for residents by performing daily cleaning tasks and supporting the overall well-being of older adults in a nonprofit senior living community.

What You'll Do

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas
• Clean windows, mirrors, walls, furniture, and fixtures
• Empty trash and dispose of waste according to safety guidelines
• Perform deep cleans and prepare rooms for new residents
• Restock housekeeping supplies and keep storage areas organized
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and cleaning procedures
• Work closely with nursing and other departments to support resident care
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
• Help maintain a welcoming environment for residents, families, and visitors

• Enjoyment in working with older adults and serving others
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Housekeeping or healthcare environmental services experience is helpful but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive movement. Team members should be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay

$13.88–$17.73 per hour, based on experience
