HOUSEKEEPER/FLOOR TECH FT DAYS
About the role
AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette is seeking a Full Time Housekeeper/Floor Tech for Day Shifts. The position requires maintaining cleanliness of the facility while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Clean patient rooms and bathrooms daily including floors, furniture, sink, toilet, and shower.
- Clean all other areas of the facility, including floors, offices, and daily as needed.
- Stock paper products throughout the facility.
- Terminally clean patient room when patient is discharged, preparing room for a new admission.
- Floor Tech duties include routine buffing of floors, and scheduled stripping and waxing of floors.
Requirements
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Able to meet physical demands of loading and unloading.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Able to learn standardized procedures in handling and rotating stock and re-stocking shelves.
- Able to work with other people in a courteous manner.
