Housekeeper - Environmental Services

Qualifications

A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred, but not required.

Experience: 1 Year of floor care preferred. On the job training is provided.

• Understand basic verbal and written English instructions
• Exercise judgment and make decisions relative to the timing and method of daily cleaning activities
• Speak English at a level allowing safe and efficient performance of duties
• Pass a physical examination as required by ECHN
• Utilize supplies, light tools and equipment properly
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds

Position Summary

Performs daily cleaning tasks for all assigned areas, including all aspects of floor care, within the hospital and/or affiliate locations in accordance with department guidelines and current state, federal, and local standards and regulations.

Maintains and assures that all areas assigned within the hospital and/or affiliate facilities are clean, safe and environmentally comfortable for patients, residents, visitors and employees.
