Responsibilities

• Cleans restrooms, sinks, and mirrors.
• Mops and waxes floors.
• Dusts and polishes furniture.
• Washes windows, blinds, and walls.
• Distributes paper towels, bathroom tissue, cups, cleansing agents, etc.
• Requisitions, distributes, and stores supplies.
• Reports needed repairs of equipment and facility.
• Works day attendance at assigned worksite(s).

Requirements

• Working knowledge of the proper care of, and ability to use, cleaning equipment such as mops, brooms, vacuum cleaners, power scrubbers, polishers, and buffers.
• Working knowledge of the variety and uses of cleaning and sanitizing agents.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Absorbs and communicates effectively, both orally and in writing.

Qualifications

• Minimum working knowledge of cleaning equipment and agents.
• Ability to assist in training new employees and completing necessary reports and order forms.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Skills

• Effective communication skills.

Pay

The salary for this position traditionally starts at $26,312.00 but may be commensurate with education and work experience. Use our Compensation Calculator to view the total compensation package.
