Housekeeper - Assisted Living

About the role

As a Housekeeper, you will clean resident rooms and maintain the general community and care center to ensure safety and cleanliness. Your work directly contributes to a welcoming, home-like environment where residents and their families feel comfort, security, and a thriving lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Clean, straighten, and pick up trash in common areas, offices, and public restrooms, including sinks, toilets, plumbing fixtures, mirrors, furniture, and replenish soap and paper products.
• Clean, straighten, and pick up trash in resident rooms, including sinks, toilets, plumbing fixtures, mirrors, and surfaces, while replenishing soap and paper products.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep, and mop floors on a routine basis.
• Ensure apartments are maintained in a safe, comfortable, and attractive manner, keeping residents’ personal items secure.
• Clean spills, soiled areas, and other conditions as observed or directed.
• Use cleaners and other hazardous materials according to product instructions and department procedures.
• Clean exterior windows, patios, or other outside areas as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a housekeeping or facilities role is a plus, especially in a multi-unit environment.
• Experience working with the senior population, particularly in a healthcare environment, is helpful.
• Must be able to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
