About the role

You will clean resident rooms and maintain the general community and care center to ensure safety and cleanliness in a welcoming, home-like setting. Your work directly contributes to the comfort, security, and thriving lifestyle of residents and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Clean, straighten, and pick up trash in common areas, offices, and public restrooms, including sinks, toilets, plumbing fixtures, mirrors, furniture, and replenish soap and paper products.
  • Clean, straighten, and pick up trash in resident rooms, including sinks, toilets, plumbing fixtures, mirrors, and surfaces, while replenishing soap and paper products.
  • Vacuum carpets, sweep, and mop floors routinely.
  • Ensure apartments are maintained in a safe, comfortable, and attractive manner, keeping residents’ personal items secure.
  • Clean spills, soiled areas, and other conditions as observed or directed.
  • Use cleaners and other hazardous materials according to product instructions and department procedures.
  • Clean exterior windows, patios, or other outside areas as assigned.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a housekeeping or facilities role is a plus, especially in a multi-unit environment.
  • Experience working with the senior population, particularly in a healthcare setting, is helpful.
  • Must be able to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Career Growth

After mastering this role, you may advance to positions such as Lead Housekeeper, Resident Services Director, Maintenance Director, Certified Nursing Assistant, or other clinical roles within Prestige Care.
