Job Summary

Provides oversight for multiple hospital departments in the absence of management. Trains and motivates employees to meet service standards. Serves as a liaison between Administrator-On-Call staff and external agencies. Must be knowledgeable about hospital and medical staff organization and structure. Communicates significant issues promptly to facilitate investigation and resolution. Assists in procedures for patients with complex health problems. Ensures adherence to hospital policies and procedures for pharmacy after-hours services. Provides leadership in clinical and operational problem-solving. Responds to emergencies on the campus.

Job Summary

Guide and teach your team. Ensure compliance with regulations. Apply Lean methods to enhance practice and patient care. Help plan the staffing budget, as well as the equipment and expense budget for the year. Update staff on patients, especially those in critical condition. Report staffing and unexpected events. Build good relationships with department staff, patients' families, doctors, and external groups. Prepare reports, maintain records and files, manage equipment and inventory. Maintain a database for generating reports when needed.
