About the role
The Administrative Nursing Supervisor provides nursing administration on evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts ensuring comprehensive nursing services and quality patient care. The Nursing Supervisor provides day-to-day management of unit operations, allowing the Nursing Services Manager to focus on long-term planning, budget, goals, outcomes, decision-making, and other higher-level management functions. The Nursing Supervisor acts as a representative of administration and coordinates hospital and department activities on assigned shifts. The Nursing Supervisor has administrative authority during their assigned shift and is the initial Incident Commander in any situation where Emergency Codes are activated. The Nursing Supervisor will be required to travel between both campuses.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing administration during assigned shifts.
- Ensure comprehensive nursing services and quality patient care.
- Manage day-to-day unit operations.
- Coordinate hospital and department activities on assigned shift.
- Act as the initial Incident Commander during Emergency Codes.
- Travel between both Providence campuses as required.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License (upon hire).
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association (upon hire).
- 1 year of Charge Nurse or leadership experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $53.70 - $84.78 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
Full time, Night shift.
