House Supervisor RN
About the role
The House Supervisor RN performs all duties of the Hospital Supervisor and provides day-to-day coordination and leadership for all Supervisor functions. This role coordinates the general operations of all hospital supervisors, acts as a mentor and role model for nursing staff, and supports the development of problem-solving, assertiveness, and leadership skills. The House Supervisor RN collaborates with Nurse Managers to assist with staffing and crisis situations, supports coordination and evaluation of nursing staff, and initiates the disaster preparedness plan when needed.
Key skills for this position include effective communication, functioning in crisis and urgent situations, and following up with department managers and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and coordination for all Supervisor functions.
- Mentor and support nursing staff in developing problem-solving, assertiveness, and leadership skills.
- Collaborate with Nurse Managers on staffing and crisis management.
- Initiate the disaster preparedness plan as needed.
- Communicate effectively and function efficiently in crisis and urgent situations.
- Follow up with department managers and staff.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License (upon hire).
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire).
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association (upon hire).
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association (upon hire).
- National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics (within 90 days of hire).
- 1 year of charge nurse or leadership experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $56.25 - $88.81 per hour. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range will be determined based on relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts reflect the base pay range; additional compensation may be available.
Schedule
This is a part-time, night-shift position.
