House Supervisor RN

About the role
At Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, the Nursing Supervisor (House) serves as the on-site leadership presence during nights, weekends, and holidays. This role ensures safe, high-quality, patient-centered care across all units by coordinating nursing operations, supporting staff, and resolving clinical and administrative issues. The supervisor acts as a resource for nursing teams and collaborates with other departments to maintain continuity of care and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site nursing leadership during nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Support and guide nursing staff across departments.
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and patient flow.
- Resolve clinical and operational issues in real time.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Valid RN license in Connecticut.
- Three or more years in inpatient Intensive Care or ICU-level Nursing experience.
- Two or more years of leadership roles, such as Critical Care, Charge Nurse, or Assistant Nurse Manager (preferred).
Qualifications
- BLS or CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
- Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Pay
Compensation Range: $83,304 min - $133,328 max.
