House Supervisor Per diem days
About the role
This position exercises delegated administrative responsibility and authority for the supervision of hospital personnel and functions within the assigned facility, including patient care delivery, in the absence of the Administrator or Department Director. The House Supervisor serves as the leader and resource person in facilitating efficient operational activities throughout the facility, acting as an administrative representative knowledgeable about hospital/organizational policy and procedures.
The role involves identifying, addressing, and resolving staffing issues in coordination with the Centralized Staffing Team, planning and optimizing patient flow and placement with the Mission Control Bed Placement team and facility leadership, and responding to disasters, codes, emergencies, and other issues outside normal practices and flow.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State or a current Compact License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Minimum two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a psychiatric facility
- Minimum one year in a supervisory, management, or other healthcare leadership capacity demonstrating requisite job knowledge, skills, and abilities
Pay
Hourly rate: $53.39 - $84.43 depending on years of experience
Shift differentials: $3.00 for weekends, $4.25 for nights
