RN - House Supervisor Per Diem Day
This position is per diem and will work 12-hour day shifts at Providence Little Company of Mary in Torrance, CA—a Magnet®-designated hospital recognized for providing the highest-quality care by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
About the role
Acts as a resource to the Nursing Management team for overall staffing, scheduling, and budgeting. Responsible for managing Nursing/House Supervisors, staffers, and operations of the Nursing/Staffing Office, Float Pool staff, Monitor Technicians, and Nursing Administration registry budgets. Maintains in-depth knowledge of all staffing, scheduling, and pay policies and procedures, and effectively communicates this understanding. Works collaboratively with colleagues within the Service Area to foster consistent practices. This position reports to the Chief Nursing Officer.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a resource for staffing, scheduling, and budgeting within Nursing Management.
- Manage Nursing/House Supervisors, staffers, and operations of the Nursing/Staffing Office.
- Oversee Float Pool staff and Monitor Technicians.
- Maintain and communicate knowledge of staffing, scheduling, and pay policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent practices across the Service Area.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- California Registered Nurse License (upon hire).
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire).
- 1 year of Charge Nurse or leadership experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $68.94 - $108.84 per hour. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range will be determined based on relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
Schedule
Per diem, 12-hour day shifts.
