House Supervisor-Nursing Admin
About the role
The House Supervisor is a Registered Nurse who assumes administrative responsibility for the management of all department service functions on his/her shift. This position makes frequent rounds throughout the facility to monitor the delivery of care, oversee the quality of services, and direct patient care activities as needed. The House Supervisor directly supervises, provides support to, and communicates with all staff house-wide. In the absence of the Hospital Administrative staff, the administrative scope and responsibility are extended to all services within the hospital. The House Supervisor ensures efficient operations and patient flow throughout the hospital. They perform direct patient care, only as needed, within the scope of practice and competence.
Responsibilities
- Makes frequent rounds throughout facility to monitor the delivery of care, oversee the quality of services, and direct patient care activities as needed.
- Directs and supports all staff house-wide.
- Ensures efficient operations and patient flow throughout the hospital.
- Performs direct patient care, only as needed, within the scope of practice and competence.
- Ensures all temporary agency personnel are deployed and oriented in compliance with hospital policy.
- Affords administrative scope and responsibility to all services within the hospital in the absence of the Hospital Administrative staff.

Requirements
- Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- One (1) year prior experience as a Supervisor preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years acute care nursing experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Qualifications
- Education: Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience: One (1) year prior experience as a Supervisor preferred. Minimum of three (3) years acute care nursing experience.
- Training: Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current. ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

- Strong leadership and supervision skills.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.

Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $48.00 to $48.00.
Schedule
The schedule for this role is Per Diem Nights.
