About the Role

Shriners Children’s St. Louis has an opportunity for a part-time RN House Supervisor in our Inpatient Unit. Join a team of professionals committed to improving children's lives. Schedule

This part-time position will work 48 hours bi-weekly on night shift.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the daily activities of the Inpatient Unit.
  • Oversee care delivered to patients, ensuring staff, equipment, supplies, and other resources are available and accessible for the provision of care.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with staff.
  • Assist with the professional development of nursing staff, including ensuring the quality of care provided meets or exceeds the standards established by The Joint Commission, CMS, SHC, and other applicable governmental or regulatory agencies.
  • May have authority beyond nursing departments during non-routine work hours and may serve as the top-ranking administrative representative for the hospital.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BSN).
  • Active RN license in state of practice.
  • 3 years' nursing experience in a pediatric clinical setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year Nursing Supervisor experience.
  • 2 years Critical Care experience.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Pay

Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
