Clean and Maintain

  • Remove trash and debris from floors.
  • Replenish linen supplies in floor closets.
  • Stock linen room with clean linen and supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets.
  • Strip dirty linen from assigned rooms and place in laundry chute.
  • Remove dirty glasses from Room Attendants' carts and closets.
  • Transport clean glasses back to floor closets.
  • Clean designated areas with proper chemicals and equipment.
  • Wipe down vending machines, ice machines, and laundry machines/counters/shelves.
  • Ensure no items are stored in stairwells.
  • Remove stains, scuff marks, and dust from carpets.
  • Deliver and retrieve items requested by guests and Floor Supervisor.

Inventory and Supplies

  • Check assigned floor closets and replenish linen supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets.
  • Remove trash, wipe down shelves/counters, sweep non-floor closet items, and transport to proper storage areas.

Communication and Reporting

  • Turn in all lost and found items and guest room keys to the department.
  • Report property condition deficiencies to Guestware.
  • Report unsafe conditions to management.
  • Report accidents, injuries, near-misses, property damage or loss to management.
  • Report any property condition deficiencies for Guestware.
  • Report any unsafe conditions to management.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift, reach, bend, stoop, stand and walk continuously.
  • Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods.
  • Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, and smiling.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of push heavy carts.
  • Skills in talking to many different kinds of people to give information, answer questions, and provide required services.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies on and off carts.
  • Ability to use property radio for department communication.
