House Parent - Full-Time

About the role

Full-time Flex Houseparents provide care, guidance, supervision, and support to students in on-campus homes, fostering a family-like environment within the campus community.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and mentoring students daily
• Managing household routines and schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental and recreational events
• Leading devotions and attending Chapel services
• Overseeing household budgeting and reporting

Requirements

• Experience with youth work or volunteering
• Married couples (legally married for at least 2 years), both aged 27 or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive student vans
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Integrity, professionalism, and role-modeling qualities
• Comfort leading devotions and attending chapel (proselytizing not allowed)
