Daily Banquets / F&B Responsibilities
- Prepare all banquet spaces prior to scheduled events as outlined in Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) or as directed by management.
- Arrange tables, chairs, buffet stations, and other event equipment according to event layouts and guest requirements.
- Set dining tables with linens, china, glassware, flatware, and any necessary décor.
- Ensure all audiovisual and lighting equipment is properly positioned as needed.
- Return banquet spaces to their standard configuration or prepare for the next scheduled event.
- Safely transport tables, chairs, and other equipment to designated storage areas.
Maintain the Cleanliness and Organization
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of banquet rooms, hallways, storage areas, and service spaces.
- Affixes to assist in keeping the banquet kitchen, coolers, and related equipment clean and orderly.
- Conduct regular inspections of clubhouse areas to ensure cleanliness and readiness for upcoming events.
- Communicate any guest concerns, special requests, or maintenance issues.
Support Housekeeping
- Assists with arranging furniture throughout property.
- Supports housekeeping with tasks on the interior areas of the facility including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping floors, washing windows, emptying trash cans, ashtrays, sweeping, and dusting.
- Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to emptying trash cans, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
General Repairs and Maintenance
- Maintains and improves the facilities on an ongoing basis including painting and light repairs.
- Performs general maintenance for all areas within the operation including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.
- Affixes to assist with limited maintenance of the tennis courts and swimming pool.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Previous banquet experience in club or hotel setting preferred.
Work Environment
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds and move tables/furniture.
- Able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time.
- Maintain composure and professionalism in all situations.
- To follow directions and communicate effectively.
- Maintains standards of personal appearance and grooming.
