Houseman/Maintenance Assistant (Part-Time)

About the role

Motel 6 Ventura Beach is seeking a reliable and motivated Houseman/Maintenance Assistant to support our maintenance and housekeeping teams. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, keeping things running smoothly, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming property for guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform light maintenance and minor repairs (painting, plumbing, touch-ups, etc).
• Aid housekeeping with daily operations and general property upkeep.
• Maintain tools, supplies, and storage areas in a safe, organized condition.
• Report and respond promptly to maintenance or safety issues.
• Support the maintenance manager and property team as needed.

Requirements

• Basic maintenance and repair skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Hotel or apartment maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Schedule

Part-time — approximately 20–25 hours per week (schedule may vary).

Pay Range

$16.50– $17.00 per hour, depending on experience.
