Responsibilities

• Work with the Recruitment Officer in the Talent Acquisition section to develop prospective candidates and schedule interviews statewide through multiple systems including but not limited to Indeed, MO Careers/HireTrue, Facebook, and Mobile Talent.
• Call, text, and email prospects who have shown interest in departmental jobs to schedule job interviews and assist as needed with the application process.
• Maintain effective relationships with institutional leaders and other staff as well as develop social and professional networks to source qualified candidates.
• Inform applicants about the job and department, coordinate a variety of recruiting initiatives, and attend career fairs for department recognition as needed.
• Travel to recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs.
• Exercise initiative and independence within established guidelines; receive general administrative direction and work independently.

Schedule

• Flexible work schedule, including evening, weekend hours, and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Applicants with recruiting experience are preferred.

This position may be domiciled at Central Regional Training Academy or Academy of Excellence in Corrections.
