Hourly Manufacturing Team Member

About the role

General Labor position to assist in the manufacturing of AEIL products.

Responsibilities

• Able to follow kanban flow.
• Follow standardized work: work procedure, work point, and quality check.
• OK and NG judgment.
• Safety point.
• Defect handling; check sheet handling; die change procedure; and short stop recovery.
• Report of abnormal occurrence.
• First and last product check.
• Fill out production actual record once per hour, as necessary.
• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
• Achieve the required skill level within 90 days of working in the section.
• Willing to adjust break rotation to accommodate working lines through breaks.
• Willing to rotate to other lines within the section and other sections to support production requirements.
• Will perform other reasonably related tasks within the Company as required by the Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Pay

$19.00–$24.30/hour + $1.00/hour shift differential for 2nd & 3rd shift. Ask if you qualify for our Pay for Experience rates.

Work Environment

• Some dust, noise, oils, greases, grinding debris, compressed air, metal shavings, propane, solvents and occasional heavy lifting.
• Exposed to hazardous machinery and/or conditions that could result in injury up to and including a fatality if safety measures are not followed and adhered to.
• Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils.
• Requires the use of personal protective equipment such as Safety Glasses with Side Shields and mandatory hearing protection.
• Temperature of work area may be affected by outside temperatures and machining.
• Industrial lighting provided.
• Required to drive company equipment.
