Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms
- Replenish room amenities and supplies such as towels, toiletries, and minibar items
- Report any maintenance issues, broken items, or safety hazards to management promptly
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and use them efficiently
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Auxiliary cleaning of public areas of the hotel as needed
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries
- Adhere to hotel policies and procedures to ensure guest satisfaction and safety
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by housekeeping supervisors or management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in housekeeping or room attendant roles is an advantage but not required
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness standards
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently
- Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
