Hotel room attendant

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms
• Replenish room amenities and supplies such as towels, toiletries, and minibar items
• Report any maintenance issues, broken items, or safety hazards to management promptly
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and use them efficiently
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
• Auxiliary cleaning of public areas of the hotel as needed
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries
• Adhere to hotel policies and procedures to ensure guest satisfaction and safety
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by housekeeping supervisors or management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in housekeeping or room attendant roles is an advantage but not required
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness standards
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently
• Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
